Jeff Koons - An American Destiny (1990)
Bunnies made of stainless steel, Michael Jackson with his favourite ape and cynical self-portrays as "Educator of the Masses" made the American Jeff Koons in the Eighties to one of the most controversial artists in the New York art scene. The film tells the story of his ascendance, using his own esthetical clichés from advertising and Wall Street without further commentary, and makes Koons talk , together with his gallerist Jeffrey Deitch, some famous collectors and, of course, the Italian porno star Ilona Staller alias Cicciolina, who lived and loved with Koons during the production of his series "Made in Heaven".
